ASIS International - 38,000 members and growing strongly
ASIS International is the preeminent organization for security professionals, with more than 38,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated
to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security
interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security
management profession to business, the media, government entities, and the public.
By providing members and the security community with access to a full range of programs and services, and by publishing the industry's No. 1 magazine—Security Management—ASIS

ASIS International Membership

Membership fees for ASIS International (Effective 2018) is:
Regular Member - US$195 with a US$20 once off application fee which is valid from 1st January to 31st December. Discounted rates apply for applicants
if application is made from the 1st of July onward.
Student Member - $US20 For students actively pursuing a security related degree.
Retired - US$100 for applicant is over 67 and is not a major stakeholder in a security business and has been a members for the past 10 consecutive
years.
In respect of membership, under ASIS International by-laws Chapters are permitted to levy local membership fees. Currently no Australian
chapter imposes local fees on their members.
